"hey.. how are you doing?"

This is a question i get like all the time....
Canadians, Europeans... people here....love to ask this...
and i'm always like... ok... how am i supposed to answer this?
i mean....do you really wanna know how i am doing?

that i voided my Roman History test coz i didn't think i could pass... (it can be done by the way..just means that next test and final exam will be 50% each.. instead of 2 tests being 30% and finals being 60%)
That i feel sian about it.. coz I DID STUDY..and that means i'm taking time of my other mid-term paper....which is like freaking difficult....
That i'm sososososo excited about Vancouver though i've got to do lotsa stuff before i leave coz i've got a presentation due when i return...

i mean...i don't really know you...are you sure you wanna hear all this? (seriously, if you're a friend, i'd like just garbra everything to you when you pop this question lah...)
i think its like the culture thing or something....a question is asked without wanting to know the answer....this is the friendliness of the western culture... and in Rome, we've gotta do what the Romans do right?

so for now.. "I'm fine" with a smile will suffice...
