The magnificent Niagara Falls! (: 

I’m in New York! In La Guardia Airport waiting for my flight to Orlando.

These 3 days have been happening, tiring and crazy.

First, the happening..
Niagara Falls is so awesome! The waters are so strong, so powerful and so majestic. When we arrived, the weather was cloudy. But God granted us sunny weather in the afternoon and I saw how gorgeous the falls are! (: The waters are emerald and the crashing waves pure white in the sun. And we managed to catch 2 rainbows at one time! One above the other. It was so gorgeous I didn’t wanna leave.

The tiring..
I just had to be smart and “run my last run for the month” on the day I leave.
Then I spent the whole day packing and coz we took a 3 am bus to Niagara I didn’t get much sleep. Not only so, we walked…. And walked.. and walked… for various reasons..

1. the maps were really really deceiving.. everything looks so near! So we think they really are.. till we walk for an hour and wonder why we aren’t there yet..

2. looking for the post office. After lugging our luggage from Kingston to Niagara, we decided that we HAD to ship back stuff coz they are really too much.. so we went around looking for the post office AND for boxes to ship stuff back. So lang bei can! Coz the stationary store was so far away and we didn’t wanna waste $ to get a cab there we went from fast food restaurant to fast food restaurant to look for boxes. It was pathetic and funny and the same time.. (that’s the crazy part of my 3 days actually) anyway glad that I’m traveling much lighter now.. (: haha

yah pretty much sums up these past 3 days..
I miss Canada. I feel so much safer and comfortable there..
I think that’s what happens. You’re nervous when you go to a new place and it takes time and experience for one to start to feel secure again.
Well, I guess I’d get used to the States and I’d feel more comfortable here soon enough..
Next: Orlando and Disneyland. Dunnoe when I’d get a chance to get internet.. ;P

I cut my finger.. a.g.a.i.n.
This is like the 4th/5th time? I should never be left with a knife.. i seem to underestimate what hurt it can cause me.. hai.. and this time.. its 2 fingers in a row.. i hope this one will heal properly.. the previous will leave a permanent scar.. i think..

supposed to wake up early this morning to see the sunrise.. its the last time to do it here.. coz the weather forecasts for the next few days will be cloudy or rainy.. but didn't manage to do so.. i jumped outta bed at 10.30...ah wells.. there are other sunrises to see i guess...

Roman History on Monday....a great subject to learn.. ain't that fun memorising... just don't feel very motivated today.. i could pack... hmm.... ah wells.. packed like halfway yesterday.. i could do research on my travelling..... i could watch CSI.. or desperate housewives... haha.. oh man.. (focus girl.. you love this class remember?) (:

Gerry left two days ago.... that poor girl met with trouble in the airport.. over baggage that exceeded the weight limit.. she had to open her luggage then and there to remove stuff.. i feel bad for her.. and we spent so hard the night before trying to pack everything in.. feel some sorta guilty she had to do all that.. maybe we shouldn't have packed so much in.. =/

I'd miss ya.. well.. we'd meet each other in SG.. but we've our own circle of friends back there... will we make the effort to meet up.. to maintain this newly formed friendship?
I've been inspired by you.. encouraged by you.. and we've had so much fun together.. i hope it doesn't end here... not only for you.. but also the other girls...

ah wells, Hayati left too.. joined minnie in New York and Boston.. she's coming back. but i may be gone then.. and Freida left too.. crazy Hong Kong girl.. ;P

Welfare in Canada rocks man...

the school sends catered snacks to the hostels on specific dates at specific times to the poor, hardworking folk of Queen's.. haha..its so unbelievable that the school would actually feel the responsibility for the welfare of the students and dish out welfare things like that lah..
i mean, we have it in hostel, but then that's not done by NTU.. NTU doesn't care if we have nice study snack food or not as long as we get A's.. amazing i must say.. (:

we've had choc chip cookies, brownies and rice crispies so far...
coming up are oatmeal raisin cookies and ....... well... i never really memorise the whole menu.. =P

ah.. well.. just something to share.. before a lil karaoke session (to relieve our tired brains.. haha) with the girls downstairs.. :D

just calming to look out into nature.. one of the best weekends i've had in Canada.. just 2 hrs away from Kingston.. who would've thought of that? (: 

most of the lakes were still frozen.. but we suspect not enough to take our weights.. e edges are melting already.. 

It IS a park after all.. woods were a plenty

St. Lawrence Lake (yes.. it links all the way to Quebec) where the thousand islands are.. 

The real reason we're here: Thousand Islands.. That's just one of them.. only big nuff for a house

Windsurfing.. the Canadian Way.. haha.. this is a winter sport.. this guy was pretty good.. managed a few stunts..  

we went THAT close to the falls.. were all drenched coz we were so close.. 

and what's a waterfall without a beautiful rainbow.. i've never seen a rainbow so bright and gorgeous.. (:

Niagara Falls is so awesome! The waters are so strong, so powerful and so majestic. When we arrived, the weather was cloudy.
