The sure signs of Spring....
1. It ain't white everywhere you turn
2. Lakes are blue in colour.. not white..
3. You hear birds chirping.. (:
4. You're woken up in the morning by seagulls screeching.. =/
5. Mini skirts are in fashion
6. You can jog in a t-shirt! whoo hoo! ;P
7. You can go to a park, lie on the grass and bask in the sun
8. You see people wearing bikini tops basking in the sun. =P
9. Flowers!!!!
10. Open-air markets
11. Outdoor afternoon BBQs
12. HOT: pullovers NOT: down jackets
13. Frisbee!
14. Winter sales and spring collections
15. You can wear slippers outdoors! (:
16. Green
I love spring.. (:
Finally see green, and clear blue waters..
Finally not have to go out in that thick down jacket...or in suffocating boots..
I see flowers on porches.. outdoor BBQs (don't these ppl have exams?)
I run in a t-shirt, eat ice-cream without fear..
and yes.. the parks by the lake.. went to one today.. we had a picnic cum study thinggie...just lay blankets on the grass, eat, be merry, bird watch and TRY to make friends with derivatives(that's some finance thing i have an exam on).. haha.. really enjoyed the warmth of the sun..it sucked when the weather turned cloudy tho.. was freezing..
Minnie has gone to Washington DC.. that lucky girl has only one paper left and the exam is only on the 26th.. Woke up this morning expecting to hear her voice coming from the common room.. but no.... hai~.. really gonna miss her when i leave..she's just so bubbly and fun! It seems like yesterday when we went Toronto together!
i can't believe my semester here is going to be over so soon... and i'd be leaving Canada... it is really such a good experience to come here..and honestly, i don't bear to leave this place.. its not like i don't love Singapore or that i don't miss home.. i do.. and everything i have is back there..just can't believe how fast time flies and this once-in-a-lifetime experience will be over so soon..
ah wells.. that's just life man... and I'm thankful that i could live some part of it here.. (:
