i managed to get internet again! (:
whoo hoo!!! haha.. neways, just a lil update, i'm in Boston now...
historic, old.. i like it.. haha..but i think i've got a bit too much of an overload in American History in the past 2 weeks..
Going to Harvard tomorrow... and MIT.. one of the best schools in the world...but so what.. not as if i'm studying there.. just have to be a tourist and visit it.. you know.. the been there done that thing.. haha..
neways, a lil update..
Disney was AWESOME!!!!!! whoo hoo!! never thought i'd say that.. but whoo hoo!!! :D
total fantasy world.. just so magical.. so surreal.. (:
watched fireworks for consecutively 3 nights.. feel blessed to be able to have such a magical experience..
and i got a tan! like lost all the fairness i've attained in 4 months in just 8 days lah.. am i happy? (after complaining coming back to sg 'bai bai pang pang' now i am 'hei hei pang pang') well.. lets just say that i would have liked to show you guys out there my 'near original' colour before morphing back to 'nepalese' skin.. (a guy from nepal in Boston thought i was from nepal.. like.. ???)
neways, lots more about Florida.. update when i'm back..
next, Washington DC..
we stayed in a 'ghost house'.. old, run-down hotel... scared poor JL to death.. hahaha... we had to make a lot of noise when she was in the shower.. heh.. ;P
DC was mainly just monuments and musuems.. learned a lot about American History.. so much its a lil of an overkill learning part of it in Boston now.. which doesn't give Boston credit coz despite the overkill i still enjoyed it very much... (shows how much i'd like it if i wasn't so saturated.. )
neways, i've met like the most friendly ppl in US here in Boston...
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
2 different people helped us find our way to the subway the first day we were here.. and when i say help i dun mean giving directions plainly.. i mean as far as walking us to the subway..
that's not all.. ppl just come up to us on the street and talk to us.. one even offered to bring us around. like how nice right? and if you think that he had 'evil' intentions.. worry not.. he was 'brought up by the Bible and his cousin is a policeman'.. haha.. according to his words at least...
well.. as conservative singaporeans we still are.. we declined.. but still. it was just really nice...
neways, that's all for now..
i'm tired and its time for a bath and zzzzz....
i can't believe its gonna be over soon...
